My journey into the world of technology began not in a boardroom, but in the dreams of a 10-year-old boy fascinated by computers, a dream that culminated in a B.S. in Computer Engineering Technology from the University of Cincinnati in 2004. Armed with technical prowess across programming, infrastructure, and networking, I quickly recognized that my true calling extended beyond engineering: it was to be an exemplary leader in IT Operations.

This conviction shaped my career. Beginning my leadership journey in January 2012 as a Manager at a leading health system in Cincinnati, I discovered a unique ability to fuse my passion for technology with an innate talent for building trust and respect within teams. This became the cornerstone of my leadership philosophy: empowering IT departments to leverage their full potential to deliver unparalleled experiences for our customers.

 

My career progressed rapidly through pivotal roles, including building a Network Operations Center and serving as Director of Infrastructure and Director of Service Management for large health systems across the Midwest. These experiences provided invaluable insights into the complex operational challenges faced by large-scale IT organizations. Most recently, as Senior Director of Digital IT Operations for a predominant health system, I gained a comprehensive perspective on the critical role IT plays in supporting core business functions, particularly within healthcare.

 

Through these extensive experiences in healthcare operations, one fundamental truth became abundantly clear: the profound impact that a secure, well-managed identity infrastructure has on an organization's ability to deliver care, innovate, and thrive. Yet, I observed a pervasive struggle for IT departments to prioritize and address these foundational challenges amidst continuous business growth aspirations.

 

This insight, coupled with a craving for a new challenge to overcome, was the catalyst for Identity Sphere LLC.

 

At Identity Sphere, we are uniquely positioned.
